New owner with a few questions

I just recently purchased a 2018 Mustang GT. My previous car was a 2017 BRZ. The power in this Mustang is crazy. I already started looking into mods for the Mustang. Does anyone here have the Eibach Sportline Lowering Spring Kit? Any input on them? I just want the car to handle a little better than stock. I also don't want to spend a bunch on money. I also don't have the performance pack. Is there a ride height difference from the stock mustang GT and the PP GT? I also noticed that my car doesn't have drag strip mode. Is that only for performance pack Mustangs? Thank You

Drag strip mode is only on Premiums I think, not tied to the PP.

I'd say get a different spring than the Sportlines. They don't handle that great and sit almost too low. I like my Steeda Sport Linears better than the Sportlines I had before.

There are other options out there as well though, make sure to do proper research on what else you should do at the same time like camber plates or bolts, new shocks/struts, etc.

Thanks for the responses. I just wanted to add that I've never owned a car with this much power. I noticed that the engine bay gets really hot even if I am not pushing it too hard. Is this normal? Should I upgraded the cooling? As of now, I am just opening the hood when I get home to let the car cool down after a drive.

That's perfectly normal. Unless you see your coolant temps skyrocketing or your cylinder head temps going really high (230+), it's all within spec. There's no need to open the hood. Drive it and enjoy it.

I owned a 2013 FR-S in the past. This engine is more than twice as big. That boxer engine had a lot more room to breath.

I'd say there's no need for that unless you're doing hard laps at high speeds on a track for multiple laps...it's meant to be driven.

I have sportlines on my 15 GT PP. Love the stance, I don't road course my car so I can't speak to the absolute limit performance, but they definitely improved the handling and feel of the car, but they are stiff.

Selectable drive modes also come with 101A and 301A on non premium models. It is standard equipment on all premium models.

Start with BMR Springs, shocks that pair well with the springs, BMR Cradle Lockout, and Steeda Rear Shock Mounts. You'll be glad you did.
