I put the Steeda clutch spring in my car and honestly can't tell a difference from the factory unit. If anything I guess it's lighter but no more feeling or anything like that. I really miss the cluth pedal feel on my 87 fox, could feel it bite so easy in the pedal.Wow-night and day difference from the steeda clutch spring. Cant recommend enough. No more jerky takeoffs
Yeah not a great amount of feel still but it doesn’t snap your leg up at the bite point like the factory spring. It’s a much more linear feel.I put the Steeda clutch spring in my car and honestly can't tell a difference from the factory unit. Did you replace the entire shifter assembly or just the lever?Swapped the mgw shifter in - it was okay but a lot of noise and vibration for not a ton of improvement in shift feel.
I’m going to try the stock shifter with steeda bracket and stainless clutch line instead. My factory shifter might actually end up being pretty good if I can stop it from moving around on hard acceleration.
The entire thing. Don’t get me wrong, it was an improvement. But not as much as I was expecting. And the NVH went up a lot.Did you replace the entire shifter assembly or just the lever?
Too much NVH for you? Does the MGW come with two sets of springs (stiff and soft)? If so, which did yo install? The entire thing. Don’t get me wrong, it was an improvement. But not as much as I was expecting. And the NVH went up a lot.
I think my issue is with the MT82 and not really the shifter, seems my factory shifter is actually quite good minus the movement on hard accel. The gear engagement of the mt82 just sucks.
I don’t think it comes with extra springs. If it did I lost them. And the NVH wasn’t bad but this is a street car for now and I like the fact my interior is dead quiet.Too much NVH for you? Does the MGW come with two sets of springs (stiff and soft)? If so, which did yo install?
i opted for the "FORD PERFORMANCE AIR/OIL SEPARATOR",on the passenger side,i empty it the first day of each quarter...i usually get about 22 cc's of oil. What do you guys think about adding an intake oil separator? I’m coming from the hemi world where these were very popular.
