Just wanted to introduce myself to those of you who obviously enjoy driving and the open road as much as I do. I recently purchased a manual Mach 1 with Handling Package after coming from a manual BMW F82 M4. Two completely different cars but the Mach 1 wins on 'soul'. The M1 checked all the boxes for what I was looking for and brought me back to an American muscle/sports car after a long Bavarian run. Looking forward to conversing with you all about these amazing cars that we all love and enjoy, see you on the road.

Welcome to, or back to the Blue Oval and the visceral experience you are sure to enjoy driving your Mach 1. This is a great group here that I have learned so much from since purchasing mine so buckle up and hang on!

Thank you! This is actually my first Mustang but I've had Challengers and Camaros from my Drag and Bracket racing days. The Mach 1 is definitely the must enjoyable car I've ever owned, even more so than the BMWS. From what I'm hearing, the Mach 1 is special in the Mustang line because of it's track focus. A solid N/A V8 motor, strong Tremec transmission, rear wheel drive, aggressive looks, amazing sound and soul...it checked all the boxes for what I was looking for right now. I came very close to purchasing the new BMW M4 but I believe BMW drifted too far away from being a driver's car with the new M4.

Good luck with your Mach 1 HP, it's a great street car that is practicallly ready for the track. Too bad you didn't purchase it new and take advantage of the Track Attack driving school at the Charlet Moter Speedway road course using identical cars. My class (single day option) was on a 100 degree August Friday and all the cars ran their A/C systems full blast to keep the drivers cool. Not one car over heated or had any other issues, even the ones with 10R80 transmissions, and the vehicle capabilities were impressive, especially in the hands of the pro drivers.

Thank you. The Track Attack driving school would have been nice indeed. I had the chance to attend BMWs two day performance driving school in Palm Springs CA and that experience was amazing, I'll definitely do the same with Dark Horse Track Attack this summer, I'll also track the Mach 1 a few times as well just to find the limits. I bought the car with 13,000 miles on it and I intend to drive it hard and put miles on it fast so the durability of the M1 was another selling point for me. No boost or overheating issues to worry about, a tried and true Coyote motor, Tremec 3160, and mean looks, Ford did it right here.

Twins indeed! The struggle is real with black cars as I'm sure you already know, I keep telling myself that I won't own another black car but I keep doing it lol. Here are some additional pics:
