You'll pick it up pretty quick. Stalling a couple of times is no problem, you just have to find and feel that engagement point and marry it! Good luck tho 👍🏻

Welcome! I use 6th only on the highway and only generally above 100 kms/hr, but it is more based on RPM. I've found my 5.0 does not like to "loaf around" in low RPM meaning under 1700-1800 RPM.

I never look at my speed. Had someone ask me how fast 2d gear was once and I really couldn't answer. I am one of those that needs a big red light to tell me I am red lining!

I think the shift point beep indicator could be raise to a sweet spot.

If ignored, a wooden mallet hits a driver over the head. Located on the back side of the headrest.

Hey guys I just bought a 2017 Ford Mustang Gt/cs and I’m fairly new at driving Manuel. So I just had a couple of questions cuz I couldn’t find them online. I live in Canada and we go by km/h. So I just wanted to know when I’m on the highway the speed limit is 100km/h (or 65mph) and I wanted to know what the cruising RPM is for fifth gear or sixth gear and when you guys are driving that speed what’s the gear you should be in?.
Don't overthink this. Let the car tell you whether the gear you've chosen has adequate response for the conditions of the moment. You can learn this with just a bit of practice, and it'll actually be easier if you disregard the tach completely and the speedometer for anything other than ticket-avoidance.

It's one of those "Use the Force, young Skywalker" things.

I learned to drive a manual transmission on a Honda 70 trail bike. It was a 4 speed and didn't have a speedo. Fun little thing!

I am pretty sure I could shift a manual transmission blindfolded.
