The LMR site currently says any wheels purchased after 11/18/2020 will differ in color. Were these purchase before or after that date? Your graphite on the Kona looks incredible.Sorry for the repeat pics for anyone who read the Firestone Firehawk thread.
Anyway, I didn’t feel like waiting any longer so I got the wheels mounted up today. The car won’t see road miles for a couple more months but at least I can visit the new wheels in the garage.
By the way, center caps from base 18” wheels fit securely but they rattled just a little. A thin strip of Gorilla tape around the circumference snugged them right up. That saved a few bucks.
It more is a colour match issue with the change in suppliers. There isn't a significant change before or after that date. The LMR site currently says any wheels purchased after 11/18/2020 will differ in color. Were these purchase before or after that date? Your graphite on the Kona looks incredible.
Right on. Thanks! It more is a colour match issue with the change in suppliers. There isn't a significant change before or after that date.
I find they tend to photograph dark. They are hard to shoot actually...Right on. Thanks!
I was super concerned I might get some brighter graphite or something as opposed to the pictures on this thread. Been a black wheel guy, so far, but these graphite ones look great. Definitely seems to be dark enough and looks black in shadows.
I don't recall ever seeing them compared for color. I do know that the SVE version are stronger and substantially lighter, that was enough to make the OEM wheels a non-starter for me.Does anybody happen to know what the color comparison is to actual pp2 wheels? I've seen the pp2 on a showroom, but never seen these in person. Does LMR elaborate anywhere wether these are darker or lighter than the OEM ones? Unfortunately trying to compare Google images is not the most confidence inspiring method of searching for this answer...
