Just got done installing my CJ Pony Parts shift knob along with a custom shift boot, e-brake boot, and arm rest cover Redline Goods.

I think it brings just the right amount of color to the interior.

Is that the Roush knob? Was wondering about how they get the gear numbers on the ball?
Btw, looks great

No, was going to do the Roush, but I liked that this didn't have a logo. I can't say for sure, but I think they use some sort of printing process to get the pattern on there. It's not perfect, but it looks pretty good.

Is the knob weighted? I have pretty much the same knob but it's light plastic and doesn't feel as good as a weighted knob.

No it's not weighted. It does feel lighter than I had hoped for. I'm curious to know if the Roush is weighted. I may upgrade eventually, but it will do for now.

I have the white CJPP 50 Years shift knob, and mine feels to be about the same heft as the stock knob (kinda reminds me of a cue ball). Also, the lettering on the 50 Years version is engraved into the material. I love the contrast with the black interior BTW.

Very tasteful - I like it very much!

Does the cj know sit up any higher than the stocker? Did you have to use the adapter kit? Their pics online make it look really tall with the adapter on it

They have 3 different shift-knobs at CJPP that do not require the adapter. The Roush, 50 year and the unmarked (with the area machined out). They don't sit any higher than the stock one.

Example:

You don't have to use an adapter kit. It's made to work with the factory reverse lockout. I'd say it does seem to sit a little higher than the stock knob, but only because it's a bigger ball.

Thanks. Install wasn't too bad at all. You can find an install guide here.

The quality is top notch.

we haven't got any rhd Mustangs here yet.
Can you clarify if all the hand brake handles are the same colour regardless of other options and the colour of the false stitching on it
The Redline options are great but I don't want to get anything that clashes and we have been told by Ford NZ that all interiors will be black leather, no debate , no exceptions
Many thanks from downunder

If it's like in Europe and you get a "custom" pack down under, that one will have white stitching on the seats and dash as opposed to "normal" seat coloured stitching. Wheter this includes stitches on the gear/ebrake stuff...? How's to say :)

I wonder if these knobs would fit an automatic?
