No it's not weighted. It does feel lighter than I had hoped for. I'm curious to know if the Roush is weighted. I may upgrade eventually, but it will do for now.Is the knob weighted? I have pretty much the same knob but it's light plastic and doesn't feel as good as a weighted knob.
They have 3 different shift-knobs at CJPP that do not require the adapter. The Roush, 50 year and the unmarked (with the area machined out). They don't sit any higher than the stock one.Does the cj know sit up any higher than the stocker? Did you have to use the adapter kit? Their pics online make it look really tall with the adapter on it
You don't have to use an adapter kit. It's made to work with the factory reverse lockout. I'd say it does seem to sit a little higher than the stock knob, but only because it's a bigger ball.Does the cj know sit up any higher than the stocker? Did you have to use the adapter kit? I think it brings just the right amount of color to the interior.
Thanks. Install wasn't too bad at all. You can find an install guide here. The redline bits look awesome! How hard was the install?
