Has anyone removed the interior shiny bits to have wrapped or plasti-dipped?

I'm most interested in the door pull, door grab handle bezel, and cup holder trim. Any help getting these off is appreciated.

+1 on this. The sun shines at exactly the right angle and bounces off of the shiny bits on the steering wheel to blind me on my way home from work every day. Very annoying...

I haven't done the door pull or grab handle yet, but I wrapped my cup holder trim and steering wheel bezels. Neither were particularly difficult at all.

I have wrapped the steering wheel bezels, gear shift bezel and the door handles.
Don't have sun reflecting every where, big improvement. Still want to do the cup holder bezel and maybe paint the vent bezels.

video on door panel removal.

Used a 3M wrap that looks like the CF on the basic model dash.

How did you get the cup holder trim off? I was trying using plastic pry tool but it felt like the trim would break and it even left a small indent on the bottom lip of one section where I had the pry tool.

Pull the center trim piece. There are two trim pieces at the front that snap on with magnets; remove those. Then there are a couple bolts (7mm heads, IIRC) to pull on each side. Once you do that, move to the back and pull the center console up with a spudger from the center console. Lift up and unplug the key fob wiring harness from near the cupholders.

Unscrew the shift knob and lift up. I think the stock reverse lockout retainer is just a roll pin; punch that out and remove the entire trim piece.

Then you can remove the cupholders and trim which are held in place by a few Torx screws.

The process is honestly quite a bit easier than you think it would be. Removal takes maybe 10 minutes or so if you take your time.

Then again, I've had mine out several times (installing a new shifter, putting heat-reflective tape on the underside, installing new centering springs on the shifter, wrapping the cupholder trim) that it's pretty quick for me.
