New here, ordered a S550

Hi everyone, I am new here and new to owning mustangs. I have always loved Mustangs especially the older models from the 60's. Just this weekend I finally ordered my first mustang, a 2015 GT Magnetic, with recaro seats, performance package, and a few other extra options.

I am crazy excited for it to get in! The dealer just sent me the order number a couple hours ago. I was able to get them to knock almost $2k off the sticker on the preorder.

Has anyone here if there is possibly going to be any rebates when they starting coming in?

Not likely. That's the price of buying a new model hot off the press. But good that you're not paying MSRP at least. Many here are purchasing with X-Plan, which results in a similar discount.

To put this to bed once and for all...

Everyone has difficulty understanding the following:
For membership-based partner companies, you must provide a membership card that indicates a 60-day minimum membership.

Everyone mis-interprets this as meaning you have to be a member for at least 60 days before you are eligible- This is not true (to my knowledge) It is written to mean that you can't sign up for a day, get a pin and get x-plan. MCA memberships are good for a year, minimum. The expiration date on the card proves you are a member for more than 60 days

You will get your card in about a week plus some cool stickers for your quarter windows. The magazine is very high production value. Worth the $50.

Nice! You ordered my car with a few more options. Do with it what you will but X-Plan is: $35536 and that $700 dealer fee is BS. X-Plan dealers can only charge you a $100 Doc Fee. You have plenty of time before it's built to make them sharpen the pencil.

Edit: I didn't mean to bum you out, it's still a decent price for the car, but that Dealer Fee is immoral IMO. Get them to move on the fee and it's a solid deal as is.

Yea thats gonna be a fun ride indeed. Grats on the order. I'd take Tim's advice, its solid. Plenty of time too and if the dealer doesnt want to play ball then your order is refundable right? I'd hope so. If so then there are plenty of dealers out there that will take an x-plan.
