You know, Ford France has the same behavior so, I am not surprised...
Even when it is simple, they do it the difficult way. So, imagine with such a situation that you are facing...

Ford America is not much better! Dealers and reps and website are lying to me this very minute!

No one is or has lied to me. I think you are referring to your personal experience, right. As far as the website tracker, it is only reference. Your dealer will always have the most up to date accurate information. Sorry for your issue, but please do not insinuate that everyone is having the issues you are having. :)

Not sure how “lying to me” equates to insinuating that all people are going through what I am. Just telling it like it is/has been for me. My dealer and his rep have not been giving me any info so that is MY experience. How nice for you that your experience had been going much more smoothly. Congrats on that.

That would mean you dealer screwed up. Not very surprising that dealers suck. Not all mind you. Mine was pretty good as far as dealers go. They still have some points that are not great, but they have been pretty transparent. Its the dealers that don't tell you anything or just flat out lie. Also this is not a Ford problem exclusively as I have never bought a car that afterward I felt like I just got dunked in slime. The question is, how good are you at working through the slime to get to the good part underneath?
Are you not the same person that just replied to me about me insinuating dealers suck when in fact you flat out state this exact thing above and added that don’t tell you anything or flat out lie? Maybe you should be a little more consistent in your dealer opinions before you rag on someone else.

LOL….first, you said Ford America is not much better. Ford America implies all or is only your dealer in America? Yes we know your experience has been bad you have made it clear in almost every post, but gee wiz, do you have to say it every single day? I have to believe that your car being late a couple months is not the end of the world. I agree it is not something to cheer about, but it is what it is at this point. Just stop posting about how bad off you are. When you car comes in, post some pics and have a beer. Otherwise calm down....for your own good.

As for the post of mine you quoted, not sure your reading comp is up to speed. I made it very clear that I was not surprised that a dealer (and there are many) that suck. Yours is one of them apparently. I was also clear that not all do, mine has been pretty good so far and there have been plenty of others with similar experiences. I did not set a foot in a dealer (chatted with 8 different ones) for the negotiating until the final day where I placed my order. I visited 3 dealers that day and placed the order with the one I though would do the best job. The pricing was within a few hundred dollars amongst them. My statement about slime I think is accurate 99% of the time. Every dealer tries to make the most money possible (no surprise there), it is just the way they do it that is slimy. Most of the time it is pretty easy to see, you just need to deal with the slime and cut through it. It is like cleaning a stable, no matter what you do, you know you will need a bath afterwards. It is just a means to an end. It is harder for dealers to pull the wool over your eyes today opposed to 10 or more years ago, but it can still be done. The ordering process is one place where they can because most people are not familiar with it and there isn't much info outside of forums like this to what to look out for. Hence the reason for people like you that get hosed (or feel that they did). I researched the order process months ahead and new about as much as you could about the good and bad. The main trouble spots that I could control was the dealer and the dealers allocation.

When I ordered the car, they showed me the amount of allocations they had. They ordered right as I sat there and gave me my Dora on the spot. The GM of the dealership actual put the order in himself (I did not ask for that he just did it). I have had 3 unsolicited emails from my salesman with updates. I already had the info except the one where he gave me my VIN#.

Also, you like many others have been stung by the Mexico plant strike in Jan/Feb, no one could have predicted that and that is certainly a true item to gripe about Ford America (once!). It is over and Ford seems to be doing what they can to get the backlog of cars out the door. Here is where you need some patience as there is nothing anyone can do, not even your dealer. To say no one cares is silly since Ford makes cars to sell them as fast and as many as possible. To think otherwise is just plan dumb. Now are they great at logistics and never make mistakes....obviously the answer is not really.

People in the world today are far too willing to let someone else do the work or assume everything is going to go ok because someone said so. That would be great, but that is not the world we live in. Again, sorry for your troubles, but please can you tone it down? At least until you find out something new?

Yes Ford America as represented by my dealer as well as the dealer in my “area” who called me to verify a test drive for a Mustang I would have bought that day if it were in fact on the lot (they set up an appointment with me to test drive a nonexistent car) have NOT been much better to me than the foreign dealers. True statement. Get over it! Just because you have many different dealers to choose from does not mean that everyone does. I have 2 dealers within a 100-mile radius. I went with one in my town. Did not realize ordering a build was so iffy and dependent on so many things. My bad - I trusted Ford would treat me right and they have not made me very happy at all with these issues. No one knows the status of my car now. But thank you for bullying me out of this useless thread anyway, I will watch the one where others like me are in the steering wheel purgatory. At least they won’t be gloating about how wonderful they are to have done everything right to ensure such a pleasant experience as yours has been.

Sorry if you think I am "bullying" you. That was not my intent. I have a tendency to profile people which sometimes gets me in trouble. I do think that you should take a breath and realize you did the best you could and going crazy over it will not help. I have no doubt when you get your car this will be a fleeting memory. You may never order a car again, but at least the "hard" part will be done.

When I said "Ford France", it was about the headquarters in France that give no information to customers or dealers and no compensation (or ridiculous one).

Edit : for memory, my car has been ordered april 11th 2018 for receiving it at worst by the end of october 2018.... Now, my dealer has the information that he will receive it at worst (lol) april 13th 2019. I have never seen that with any brand (even French ones).

Bill, your case is even worse than mine.
I've ordered mid september 2018 and I have no information about the progress from my dealer.
At least I have order number, but that's it.
I cluelessly waiting since then...

Do you have any proof that your order was accepted by Ford's ordering system?

Yes I have because my dealer gave me my VIN so, I know that it has been built in january. But now, I don't have any information about when it will arrive in France or where it is as I can see people who have their cars produced at the same time as mine but arriving before.

I thought that it was possible to have a reliable way to track goods traveling with "K" Line as we can for WWL. Or even an identical way to track the cars as you have in the US.
It is strange that we do not have the same tools.
Today we noticed, that "K" Line is booked again to ship our ponies. The first arrived in Bremerhaven, Germany with their vehicle carrier "Global Highway" on 17-Jan.

There ist a tracking tool also on their homepage

https://apps.klineglobalroro.com/tracking/search

but I have no idea, what format the booking or B/L number could have.
I was in touch with "K" Line Europe in Bremerhaven. They told me, that the only possibility to get the Booking or B/L number is through Ford .
The Booking number is starting with "RIC" and there is no wildcard like at wwl's tracking page
I gave it some tries and found "RIC55132", just follow the link above and copy and paste this number into the search box.

You can see the dates of shipping but you don't see what has been shipped.
Please notice, that from beginning of this year (2019) "K" Line (Kawasaki Kisen K.K.) again is involved in shipping our mustangs as it was months ago.
"K" Line in not trackable.
Since first of January there was only one ship with at least 6 mustangs from wwl coming from Baltimore to Zeebrugge and Bremerhaven.
"K" Line is shipping our mustangs from Baltimore and New York (Newark).
The shedules are posted here:
http://www.klineglobalroro.com/schedules.html
So if you got your window sticker and your "Blend Date" and you don't find your VIN on wwl's lists, add 2,5 to 3 weeks to blend date and from that day your mustang could be loaded to one of "K" Lines vehicle carriers.
Search "your" harbour and two days after arriving ask your dealer for a new VISTA.

Thanks, I saw those messages when I was searching ways to track K Line. My car was built january 10th but has not arrived in Belgium yet. So it has not been sent 3 weeks after the blend date.
