So this came in a few moments ago. It has already been thoroughly inspected by my over critical and OCD QC Inspector It was given approval to install on Sally.

Wow I thought our cat was fluffy.


So are all the filters that are shipping blue or is it a mixture? I'm not sure I really have a preference, I'll be excited no matter what color shows up on my doorstep.

No unless you chop off the resonance chamber and then I think it will fit

I would really suggest not doing this. Myself and Nick and been working for around 8 hours working out the software hurdle. For the intake temps. He discovered that Ford uses different temp sensors in the MAF so a blanket file doesn't work on some cars.

Also every intake/maf has its own flow chart and the one file is specific to the flow rate of your specific intake. Yes they should all be similar but your best off waiting.

What update?

Ford uses different IAT sensors in different MAFs oddly. Which upon startup some of us were getting a negative reading for IAT temps which causes the AC to disable because it thinks it's freezing. I've worked with nick the past two days and he is hammering away at making a second file for those of us with a different IAT. he made mine drivable with the AC working but he's still perfecting the file. First thing tomorrow (yes Saturday) nick will be going into the office and working on this while I send him info and we test the programs.

This has been loads of fun actually and working with PMAS has been very cool. Nicks a pleasure to deal with.

The growing pains are real but the product is worth it.

FYI since the maf is connected to the filter and is separate from the tube. If you go forced induction you can actually use the maf and filter with the blower you'll just need a different tube. Show me one other intake that can convert to forced induction and I'll eat my hat

Nice gains according to the dyno chart, especially since there is no tune. I don't want to lose my 100k warranty so this is the way to go for me. Just gonna wait a bit for more people to install and maybe an independent dyno sheet. If 3rd party numbers are good then I'll be ordering one......

after recalling my package the *day* it was supposed to arrive, they overnighted a revised product (to my great surprise and without asking). gonna race with some more power this weekend after all it seems! this filter is HUGE! i am heading out to install.

thanks for the heads up on potential IAT issues; i'll try running my A/C and throw my X4 on and view/datalog to see if mine is having an issue too. stay tuned!

Side Note: For those that think this product is "Too Rich For Your Blood" compared to other units on the market....um yea, JSTFU. The ignorance is strong on this forum. I used to sell Pro-M 77's in the early 90's, perhaps before many of you were born and they sold for $495.00. The amount of content in this kit adjusted for today's dollar it should be selling for $700.00.
