I don't think the Cuda concept is dead yet...

It doesn't have to be a Plymouth either (it's still Mopar). I doubt it will be retro either. If it does show up, it will be 2018' or later. Smaller platform and probably a Pentastar based Twin Turbo.

How would you compare the two interiors? I know the challenger is bigger on the inside but what about everything else like materials and such. Anything you don't like about the challenger?
I'd agree a lot with what pietran30 said already.

For me, I think both are very close to each other in terms of soft touch and premium materials used. The mustang interior looks really good visually with the cockpit interior. It's symmetrical and nice to look at. But after driving both a lot. I found I liked the Challenger's more driver-centric theme where things are pointed more towards the driver for easier access and quick touches etc.

I LOVE the instrument panel and gauge cluster of the Challenger. It just looks super high tech and awesome. And as dumb as it sounds. The addition of a digital speedometer and so many things you can change around was really cool. I still don't understand why the 2015 Mustang has no option for a digital speedometer readout.

There was a lot more thought into the smoothness of the electronics in the Challenger. The mustang with MFT was clunkier to use and took more effort to use even for simple tasks but I'm sure I would have eventually gotten used to its quirks. The Uconnect in the challenger was much more intuitive and fast.

I do think that the next version of Sync 3 for the 2016 models will be better but I hope they add more to the styling of it. It's gonna be more similar to the Uconnect system so I think that's a good direction for Ford to go.

One BIG thing (for me) was the huge difference in the sound systems. I was never really too impressed with the Shaker Pro Audio system in the mustang and I tried tweaking it a bunch. It's decent but muddy bass. But both of the Challenger upgraded audio options (Alpine or Harman Kardon) are really well done and sound way better than the Shaker Pro. I opted for the top of the line HK system which is kinda pricy but it's the best stock audio system I've heard with strong bass that's super clean and crisp. I was really impressed and wanted it since this is my daily driver.

I really do like both interiors. Probably the thing I miss most is the ambient lighting in the mustang which is awesome. There's some touches of ambient lighting around the challenger but it's not as well lit. And also loved the mustang lighting that shows the mustang on the ground by the side mirrors. But overall I'd give the edge to the Challenger for the interior. I could see it going either way cuz both are really well done for 2015. That's why I had such a hard time finally deciding between the 2. But the challenger interior was a big factor for me in bringing me over to their side in the end.
