just wondering if this is normal, I only say this because I dont remember it on my old 2020 GT

my new 22 GT (100 miles) ,
when I accelerate has a faint and quick flap-flap-flap sound
its not very loud, it almost sounds like the character of the engine, but im not sure.
I cant hear it from the out side with the windows open, its only from the inside

My Daughter's 22 made a ticking sound in the trans tunnel for a bit, but it is now gone. I was told Ford puts sound deadening stickers on these driveshafts? Apparently her either finally fell off or it simply tore the part that was hitting as it went around. I didn't put it on a rack to find out, because the noise alleviated it itself.

If you can, get the car safely on ramps or jack stands and see if the Ford part # decal has become detached from the driveshaft... this has been reported to be a common issue lately and the causes of that type of sound.

I would also check behind each wheel to make sure there isn't any other decals or parts rubbing during wheel rotation.

Does it sound similar to this? Iā€™ve been trying to figure out whatā€™s making this noise before I take it to the dealer.

sorry, yours is much worse than mine :(
mine is far more subtle (i have to listen carefully with windows up/music off and only happens when accelerating,
almost the same timing as a super charger (not the sound)

Went to get the first service. Ford said the oil tray or something was eithee lose or was supposed to be removed before first use and they fixed it.

The sound has come back a few months later. Havent really investigated.
Is yours a subtle sound?
