Has anyone tried the 12.2 inch brake kit from the Tiny Brake Manufacturer? If so, how does it handle canyons, mountains, backroads, and maybe an autocross session a year? Going to go ESS on low boost, and the car will be pretty gutted.

Edit: I have brembo front brakes.

I drive nearly all tight mountain roads and inner city is close to autocross with all the skip, uber, cell phone users and stoned idiots...

I would say for your road applications stock is best since will easily handle load and be at op temp, VS mega brakes that will be cold most of the time and add more weight.

That is unless you are are pulling over 1.5 g 70% of the time on braking.

If just for eye candy then get biggest you can.

The TBM brakes weight 16.3 pounds a corner. The brembo front kit weighs like 100 pounds.

I know it won't brake as good, but it will help handle better, and with motul fluid it shouldn't be bad.

How will it handle better with heavier unsprung mass?

20% decrease in size. Yah, so, good luck with that .
Looking forward to the YouTube vid.

Ohhh I get it now. That's just the rotor? Did a search couldn't find them have a link?

Frankly, even the pricey two piece consumer grade tier 1 brand rotors are made for around $60 ea.

Anything with a TUV or JAL certification on that part # is 100% safe. Otherwise a DOT / NHTSA registered producer is next. Both are searchable.

I would stay away from anything else, regardless of the price.

Standard GT brakes will be fine. Maybe put some two piece rotors and play with pads if need more.

They just put the six pots on the front because that's the look buyers want and expect at certain price points.

I want lighter but won't absolutely lose all braking ability after one application.

I know exactly your end use.

My HPP vert is about 3900 lb as is. It's way over braked with the stock GT brakes. When my radar detector blip at 140 I'm on full ABS until 60 with zero fade or smell.

I never go stupidly fast in the Twisties to be on hard abs turn after turn because I prefer to finesse and enjoy plus I'm healthily terrified of logging trucks, animals, trees and cliffs.

I could easily get away with standard Ecoboost brakes and two piece rotors.

You should try them and let us know you could be on to something.
