I did finance a portion of the car. They got me a capital one loan with no issues.

Did you finance the car? I am talking to a dealer now and he says that most of the banks he deals with are local and he doesn't think they would want to loan to someone out of state. (i don't see why not)
set up your own financing then.

I walked in with mine already done. Generally, You'll also end up with a better deal if you set your own up. I'm a big proponent of only buying toys that you can pay cash for, but in my cash my cost of cash was much higher if i paid cash, due to some investments that have been overperforming, thus, i'll do 2.1% over the course of 36 months.

If you qualify with a military background or have donated to a military cause, Penfed.org is a great place to get a loan. I've used them a couple of times and they have very solid rates and are easy to deal with.

Aguilar, there's PLENTY of nationwide financial institutions to select from. If your dealer can't find an aggressive loan package from his lest of vendors that will finance you, you're dealing with the wrong dealer. If anything, get your own financing and walk into the dealer (or Fed Ex) a check. No reason anyone should discriminate based on address.

I don't know if there are any state laws but a dealer I was working with in Kentucky was very stern that they could not offer any financing to an out of state buyer. I'd need to send them a check or do a wire transfer. The dealership I bought form in Texas went out of their way to get me financing. I could have done a bit better on my own but it wasn't worth the delay to save a few hundred bucks.

Were you saying my car has the stripe delete? Mine has black over the top stripes.

I've got a 2017 LB convenience pack from Texas that was also delivered by Montway. Mine is stripe less though. Congrats on the car, you're gonna love it. :headbang:

She's a beauty. Still waiting on the driver to call me today. I'm sure the weather isn't helping. I'm going to have to drive the car in the rain tho. haha. :)

^^ Don't worry, they sit outside the plant until being shipped. Trust me, it's been rained on already.

Better late than never. Just got the call, t-minus 25 minutes! :)

The storm out here is creating a lot of fun for the driver.

Alright, I got the car! That was an ordeal though.

1. Nighttime.
2. Heavy rain.
3. Strong winds.
4. Cold.
5. Lights inside of the trailer don't work.
6. Car on the upper level of the trailer, all the way in the front.

Guess who got to back it out of the trailer and onto that ramp? ME.

I have not driven a manual in over 18 months. I have never driven a GT350. Sure, let's back it out of the trailer in a storm, at night, by flashlight. Oh not all of the panels on the upper level were even, so I had a few humps to back over as well.

Got it done though. Found one blem on the car right on the left front corner. I did the fingernail test and it was fine, so I didn't hassle the guy. When I got it home, it polished right out so it wasn't a big deal. Tipped the guy $20 and he was very happy. All told we spent about 50 minutes unloading the car and I can say we took our time to be safe. I certainly didn't plan to back the car out of the trailer but that's what teamwork is all about.

The car is awesome and now I understand what people mean by the exhaust. There is such a difference between normal and sport modes. Of course I had to flick that switch twice once I got it down on the ground. Sounds fantastic!

I drove it to my house, then ran back to a school where the car was dropped off to pick up my other vehicle, then came back, adjusted all the mirrors, paired my phone and got the seat adjusted. I then took it for a whopping three mile spin in the rain, but I just wanted to drive it. The car had 9.8 miles on it when it made it here. I know the dealership took it out for a joyride, I mean gassing it up... before it got loaded up. haha. I would have too. :)

Oh and the driver stopped at a bank near my house and sent me a text saying he heard me having a little fun in the car! haha. Busted!

Bad pics but it's all I've got for tonight.

I had planned to take some pics when it was being unloaded, but since I was helping with the unload, that plan went out the window!

Congratulations! It's addictive. I've had mine just a month, not planning to daily drive it, and already have just under 2k miles! I estimated only 10k for insurance purposes. That's getting busted!

BTW, mine was built 1 September, and is number H1832. That's a fair amount built in 2+ days.
