This has been a long road. I tried this when the GT350 came out and I was unable to find a car, so in a moment of frustration, I bought a 2015 Charger Scat Pack. Good engine and transmission... the rest of the car was meh. It was also a boat and much the big brother Hellcat, it was good for straight line for the most part.

Ended up parting ways with the Charger sooner than I thought I would because I just didn't fall in love with it. Been kicking around the idea of a new Raptor or trying to secure a GT350. Found a few below MSRP and made a deal with a dealership in Texas for a 2017 Lightning Blue GT350 with Black OTT stripes along with the convenience package. ...

I picked up my car on 12/8 .
I have only driven the car 56 miles due the weather in New England.
The Lightning Blue really pops in the sunlight.
This forum has a lot of good information to get the most out of these cars.

Most dealerships will have a line on an open transporter. However, when you need an enclosed transport, you're pretty much on your own. I booked it myself and went through Montway.

You can use uship.com to get bids as one option.

Quick update on New Year's Eve! Happy New Year's Eve to everyone reading this.

I booked my transport using Montway and they were able to get a driver out to load today right on schedule. He has the "good" enclosed trailer with the power lift gate so there won't be any issues with the front splitter on this trip. My contact at the dealership said there was a brand new Corvette onboard headed out this way as well.

Should be leaving Texas tomorrow and arriving here in California on Wednesday.

If anyone in Texas is looking to buy a Ford, I highly recommend you go see Johnny (Sales) and Chris (Finance) at Stanley Ford in Gilmer, TX. They are awesome guys to work with. I've never had an easier experience buying a vehicle. Tell them David from Cali sent ya.

Congrats, California seems to suck for finding one for MSRP, I have been looking in Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington and Idaho for the one I want but no luck so far, but I might try Texas next time I am out there

Did you finance the car? I am talking to a dealer now and he says that most of the banks he deals with are local and he doesn't think they would want to loan to someone out of state. (i don't see why not)
