Oh nice... Thanks for the info. Hopefully with my slightly thicker sidewalls help.I've had two sets of BBS Forged Magnesium wheels for an old e46 M3. They don't bend; they crack. I found one guy in the US who could repair them. Mine were extremely light as well. I believe 16 lbs for the front 9.5 x 18s and 16.8 for the rear 10.5 x 18s. I had one set repainted by a company here in PA that refinishes wheels. The finish held up.
Only the rears cracked. I used to run 295/30-18 tires and I suspect the thin sidewall was a contributor. The fronts appeared to be indestructible with a 265/35-18 tire. Car weighed 3300 lbs.
