  1. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Even though I have two sets of wheels and tires for this car, I have yet to take these litespeeds off. Not a single concern at this point. Still very happy with them. I’m actually considering a second set for my other car.
  2. How my 2016 GT350 Engine Failed

Btw, I ended up going with the GT500 setup. Thanks again for the advice! In addition, I also picked up a new GR86. Hopefully between the two cars, I can keep at least one healthy enough for the entire season :).

For my new bottom end I'm dropping the compression ratio to 11: 1.
  4. How my 2016 GT350 Engine Failed

Ahhh ok that makes sense. Thanks for explaining.
  5. How my 2016 GT350 Engine Failed

Just to make sure I understand, does that mean I need to order a new transmission clutch housing as well since I have a 2016?

  7. How my 2016 GT350 Engine Failed

Thanks so much for the suggestion! Re the moroso hardware - are you aware of any people that have had problems with that setup, or is it just your opinion that the GT500 hardware is designed better?
  8. How my 2016 GT350 Engine Failed

Some quick background: Bought the car used w/ 1k miles on it in 2016. Supercharged it (Vortech v3 blower @ 6psi) in 2017. Put about 10k miles on it w/ supercharger installed. Multiple track days per year while supercharged. This past October, I took the car to Watkins Glen - It was a complete...

Thank you :) The supercharger set up has been pretty good, so far. I track the car, so wanted something that would make a bit more power, but do so reliably without too much headache.

  13. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Oh nice... Thanks for the info. Hopefully with my slightly thicker sidewalls help.
  14. New 16.8lbs Wheels

I actually didn't have stock wheels on there. I've had the LMR R-style wheels on there for a few years. I believe they were around 25-28lbs if I recall. Still a big savings. Shaving 10+ lbs of unsprung weight at each corner is nothing to sneeze at!
  15. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Regular wheels that are about 26lbs ea.
  16. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Well I haven't been on the track yet... actually just took them for the first drive a minute ago. Turn-in does feel more aggressive to me. Changing direction has a little bit more immediacy than I remember with the factory wheels. At least that's my impression so far.
  17. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Awesome! Can't wait to get it out on a track.
  18. New 16.8lbs Wheels

    I hope not :)
  19. New 16.8lbs Wheels

Yeah it's weird... I researched quite a bit before I pulled the trigger. I tried to find unhappy customers or cases of the wheels breaking or not holding up well. Haven't really found anything but satisfied people so far. Super weird though. If they really are that light and work that well for...
