Need urgent help with PMAS intake with BAMA!!

Hello guys today I just installed PMAS Velocity tune required intake system with 91 octane BAMA custom tune on my 17 Mustang GT. Since there were not much of instructions, but I have done it best I could, but I am not sure if I have done correctly! After installing PMAS and running tune, I have some symptoms that are not normal.
The first symptom the car has is bit more of shivering/shaking on idle and drive.
Another symptom I have is when the gear is changing, it is not smooth and changes harsh. I am not sure if I am explaining correctly but not normal. It is smoother on third and fourth gear, but it is really harsh on when first gear and second gear changes.
The last symptom is vacuum IN HG(varies every time) is slightly low and intake temp is around 140-160.
I called AM BAMA support team and they told me to drive around couple miles to let ECU learn, but I am a bit worried that I am breaking down my engine.
I saw some photos of PMAS installation and seemed like there are some owners who removed the hose. I am not sure what it is called, so I will upload a photo.

That hose is the sound tube, doesn't do anything other then add sound to the cabin. Get rid of it for a cleaner looking engine bay, or keep it as a way to hide a nitrous line . If it were me I'd lean towards running it and giving the ecu a chance to recalibrate, but I'm no expert.

Thank you. Do you know how to remove that thing? it seems like it is connected way back on the firewall and not sure how to:/
I hope the symptoms are right. I dont want to blow up my engine lol

It is about 5 miles so far. after the tune and intake installation.

You can do a search on sound tube delete, removing the nut on the firewall is a real PITA. If you yank on it hard enough it will break free. Lots of peeps in and around Houston just yanked them out.

Are you automatic? They changed shift firmness if so - it's going to feel a bit more harsh on shifts, especially the 1-2 shift. The vehicle has to relearn the idle after flashing a new tune. I've never had one idle perfectly immediately after a flash and I've used quite a few big name tuners.

Nothing wrong with Bama for lightly modded cars. There wouldn't be so many "issues" if people data logged their shit and got revisions before going online and placing blame. That goes for EVERY tuner. The amount of volume that Bama does is exponentially higher than most other tuners. Think of all the new kids heading to American Muscle with no idea what they're doing. Of course you'll hear of more "problems".

What am I missing here? Get a tune for that intake/MAF.

You generally need to drive the car for awhile to allow the ECU to adapt to the new tune. And it needs to relearn the idle strategy.

You didn't even wait until CHTs were in operating range. Nothing you've mentioned sounds abnormal.

+1. Contact Bama, tell them you added a PMAS CAI and you need a tune revision. I believe the MAF transfer function needs a fairly significant value change due to the diameter of the PMAS intake.

You're panicking over nothing.

If you haven't gotten a revised tune from BAMA for the intake, you're doing it wrong.

If you have, and you haven't driven it at least 100 miles for the new tune to learn, you're doing it wrong.

And since you haven't replied to the question of what sort of transmission you have, it's much harder to answer your questions.

Anyways, good luck. I've gotten great service from BAMA, their service is top notch.
