Guys,

Not a big wiring expert or electronics guy (in cars at least). I need to move the subwoofer out of the way so I can access the right taillight cables just so I can insert the adapter from DD in the middle of them. The subwoofer is in the way and it looks like I have to move that a little bit.

Does anyone know if there are any precautions I should take to avoid screwing anything up? I just simply need to move it and not disconnect anything.

Took it to an audio shop to give me a hand since I don't have the tools I need, but they were confused with how to take it out. Everything I do never turns out as easy :(

Got this removed. If anyone else doesn't know, just take the bottom cover off the subwoofer, take out the two big screws, and then take out the big one in the upper right corner. Whole subwoofer comes out after those 3 are unscrewed.

There is a video from CJ Pony Parts that explains the whole process. Next time check out the DIY sub forum as there are lots of goodies there. I hope they did not charge you.

I checked the CJ Pony Parts video, but it doesn't explain how to take out the subwoofer. The car they demo'd it in didn't have a subwoofer. Unless they demo'd this on an older model car? Nah they didn't charge me. Just came out, looked confused, and apologized pretty much.

I was able to get it installed on the same day. Thanks for the write up btw. FYI, the pictures in that post are not available and don't show up.
