BS they went with the corner cutting which is not the same as "every other company", there is always a balance for companies to consider, too cheap and it breaks or is inadequate too expensive and you start to eat into your profits, there is always a balance in between to consider and Ford should not be forgiven or given a pass as normal.
Anyone who ask some moderate to high performance from their Mustang will probably have heat soak problems. But for 90-95% of the owners it works fine.

Seeing how a Mustang is a turbocharged sports car I find it amusing getting heat soaked after 3rd gear would constitute as "works fine" in your book. I guess it's okay for you to get robbed since the other person probably needed it more than you.

Yes it works great in the winter when the temps are below 60°. So for people in the south it's a wonderful product for 3 months out of the year lol

I bought my car last April, didn't even know the kind of power it made until late November due to the horrible heat soak the stock unit is prone too.

Ditto to what Sam said. Here in Florida with 1 day of winter, I was only making power a couple of months. The OEM intercooler is a joke at best. I went ATM and now never worry about losing power due to heat soak.

I live in California. The summer temp is about 110 on average so I need the intercooler upgrade more than any of you haha.

I live in Phoenix, temps here can hit 121 in July and August. They are regularly over 110 in those months too.
