I’ve been trying to buy some super sports locally and have had no luck. Had them on order with discount tire. I show up to get them changed after ordering them a week ago. The only set of 305’s in the country they show is in Ocala. Anyways, get to my appointment and tires aren’t there. They don’t have them and there is no eta on back orders. So I get my money back and go to Costco. Costco quotes and calls Michelin since they also are on back order. Michelin says they don’t know when they will have them back. So I’m not against changing tires but I can’t find a single tire shop locally that will do a square set up for me on stock rims. I don’t mind changing rims at this point. Anyone point me in the direction of a good online vendor where they have had a good experience with? I would want a tire wheel package.

what's the intended use case? That will set the tire brand, compound, and size. Then look for good reviews and availability.

The problem with going full forged is price. Signature wheels are quality, but they are not cheap. If you have the coin, I would absolutely get a set because the quality, options, and caliper clearance is excellent. Realize however you would be buying a fully forged wheel..... although signature wheels are a bargain for full forged, they are not a cheap wheel. When I say cheap, I mean you get what you pay for. Signature wheels are a value, because the quality of the wheel is there. Price a set of forgeline wheels and you will see what I am talking about. The signature wheels are as good and at a fraction of the cost.

Why SS tires? What's wrong with 4S? I know the profile is slightly different, but not enough for me to care. I would look into 4S tires for all around street use and even occasional track use. If you want a serious performance enhancer, a set of soft R compound tires like Cup 2s or R888s would give you the best performance to go along with a set of fully forged wheels.

Best of luck in your search. Give @50 Deep a shout and whether you buy from him or not, he will give you good advice.

Thanks for everyone’s input. Went with one of the vendors on the site. Going 305 all the way around in 4S with the five spoke 6g wheels.
