I installed a Gibson catback on my 2016 GT this weekend and love everything about it with the exception of the exhaust clamps. I was able to get the passenger's side clamp tight enough to fit properly, but not the driver's side. No matter how tight I get it, there is still a considerable amount of play in the pipe. The X-pipe is not moving and the stock clamps are working well.

Is there another brand of clamp that will work better?

I would think the either of the two versions of the band clamp would be better. Actually wraps pipe for 1" or 3" depending on the clamp.
