Hey everyone! I'm in the process of swapping cams, and I need to remove my ATI balancer. I have the removal tool for the stock balancer, but I totally didn't think about the fact that it won't work for the ATI one. Anyone know what tool or tools I can get quickly (as in today)? I know I can order the removal tool, but I don't want to have to do that and wait if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be able to get a universal balancer tool at a auto parts store that will work. It's what I used and if it doesn't have the correct threaded bolts you can pick them up at the hardware store.

Thanks for the replies! I picked up the universal tool from Autozone, so I suppose it will be trial and error until it works.

Thanks again for the help!

try to have a thrust washer of some sort available for the tool to seat against the crank face, makes the job 10000x easier

Hey guys, In the process of removing mine to rebuild my engine. The damn thing doesn’t wanna come off. Any ideas?

I’m using the proper puller and it’s gotten to a point where it does not want to turn anymore. It’s stuck.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
