How to install ATI Balancer

I am about to install the ATI Harmonic Balancer and have a few questions for those that have done it before.

I have;
New ARP crank bolt.
12mm x 6" B7 all thread for install.
Special H/B 3 prong puller.
Torque wrench.

Questions;
Did you change yours from the top side?
Did you remove anything other than the overflow tank?
Did you remove the fans to access this?

Installed from the top side.
Just the expansion tank had to be moved not removed. Take the two bolts on the tank off and move it out of the way.
Fans do not have to be removed.

Remember to add a bit of silicone to the key way, you can see the ford damper has some on it.

I used a cheap 3 way puller and it was a bitch getting off the threads were scored from the torque as it was cheap metal.

When threading on the ATI make sure you lube up the washer ahead of the nut and I would use a steel washer, the washer that comes with the ATI is aluminum (I Think) and I scored mine up a bit.

Your going to want a new ac belt and zip ties to get the new belt on. I removed the fans for extra comfort... It's two 10 mm bolt to remove the fans.

There's an access hole on the torque converter, youll need someone to hold the bolt in there while you break the crank bolt loose.

Out of curiosity, does the ATI balancer come with installation instructions? I'll be picking one up in the not to distant future and wanted to know if I need to hunt them down myself or if they include them.

When I did the balancer on my Subaru I just put the car in high gear, or low gear, I can't remember, and chocked the wheels haha. I dunno if that's possible with these.
