Need Help my Hood struts

Does anyone know if Ford Racing gas hood struts will work with the stock hood with the aftermarket Roush hood scoop?

If someone has installed them please let me know your experience. The hood scoop adds about 15 to 20lbs so i want to make sure the Ford racing ones hold up.

Look up the load rating on the Ford Racing Hood Struts for your answer ..

I bought Struts with a 92 lb . Load rating at O Reilly and these Struts are Great for the Money $20.00 each .

Shoot the hood is rated at 150 lbs......
