Been browsing this site, so decided to join. I am really debating about getting a 2015 Mustang to add to my stable. Definitely being enjoying some of the 2015 SEMA Mustangs (some favorites: RTR, MMD, CDC, Foose) that has been posted on this site.

I would enjoy to get a 2015 Mustang and customize it the way I want, but I think I am leaning towards getting one of the 1964 LE Mustangs. However, I do not want just one of them, I am looking for a specific car number. I been browsing eBay, Autotrader, contacting dealerships that is getting a LE Mustang and see if I can request a certain number (Which I know it is hard to do, but didn't hurt to asked)

Just wondering if anyone on here knows the availability/whereabouts of two LE Numbers

My 1st choice would be 0417 and second choice would be 0309.

As you would know, the Mustang debut back on April 17, 1964 and the 1st Mustang that came off the production line was March 9, 1964

Thought it would be cool to have the special plate read

0417/1964 or 0309/1964

if anyone knows the whereabouts of those numbers (if the 0417 is a WW car, BONUS POINTS!), it will be appreciate, if no-one does, it is cool, and my hunt will continue! :headbang:

I think it's cool what you're trying to do and kudos for caring enough about the heritage to go through all the trouble but this is probably going to be a real toughy. I don't think there's many out there to be had much less finding a specific # build.

A few guys on here seem pretty tapped into the LE's out there tho. Anyway g'luck!

Originally, I would have liked to order an LE stang and I would have loved if it was number 302. My bday is March 2nd, hence the reason why I wanted #302. Anyone have any idea where that car wound up?

#302 is a white auto built on 10/9 and destined for Florida. It was ordered as a retail order, so is probably spoken for.
