Hey guys, i wanted to ask in the forums about some wheel question I have. Its my first time buying wheels and I dont wanna go thur the hassle of buying then returning and that whole long process.

I have a 2020 Mustang PP1 and I was looking at some ESR CS8s. ESR says this 19x9.5 +35 CLEARS MUSTANG PERF. PKG BREMBO/ STI.

They dont have those in stock, Ive seen some people runin the same wheel and have a 19x9.5 +22 offset with the bembos and still clear thats why im unsure, of what ESR is claiming.

If I got the ESR 19x10.5 +22 offset would they cover the brembos?

Also would a 10.5 in the front be outside the fender?

Thanks, Jay

10.5 +22 is going to have some decent poke outside the fender on both the front and rear.

ESR has some great looking wheels but unfortunately only a few of their wheel offsets are ideal and they come on the narrower offerings.

Makes sensem
So basically a 9.5 +22 is prob gonna be the best option without having it poke out way to much. but im not sure if a 9.5 +22 would even cover brembos since people have run that size with no problem.
I want like hella flush fitment. So having the right offset and size is hard.

Check out Apex EC-7 in 19x10 +40. Similar design to the ESR wheels you were looking at and with the proper offsets. They will clear the PP Brembos as well

^ This.

Factory Mach 1 front rim is a 10.5, +24; this results in a .5 inch / 13 mm poke.

A 9.5, +22, would be a .5 inch / 13 mm less, on each side of the rim.

19x10, +35, square, is a very common setup. You'd have a bit of additional grip from the wider rim/tire profile versus a 9.5. And you'd fill the wheel well a tick more than a 9.5. I see where these are currently out of stock in the maker you're looking into. Could be worth waiting for.

I'm using a 19x10, +35 setup from LMR, front and rear; these clear the brakes and suspension just fine. Simply remove the old rims and bolt the new ones on.

Hey Jay, this is Junior over at Need4speed I have a s550 mustang aswell. On my personal car I have have ALOT of different wheel and tires sizes. I have found that a 10 wide wheel with a +35 offset up front is perfect for these cars and clears the brembo brakes. For the rear a 11 wide wheel with a +50 offset is perfect also. With a 275 tire up front and a 305 tire for the rear. You won't have any issues with camber or alignment you can usually get a nice factory alignment with the wheel/tire specs.
