Time to replace my splitter and looking at options. Would prefer the OEM piece but not at the current price. Looking at the Speedkore CF splitter which is about $900 and significantly cheaper than the OEM piece. Any leads on the OEM piece for a great price?

Thanks,

Harold

I like to disassemble things.
You can get an OEM R model splitter for just over $900 from Autonation, Tasca, and I would assume Levittown.

Not right now. They want $1,400. I'm on the hunt as well and haven't had luck yet.

Who is "they"? I've purchased 3 splitters from Autonation now with one being in a group buy here in this forum. All were at the price I stated.

Harold, the best that I can do in South Carolina is $1362 plus tax for an OTD price of $1484.00 with a delivery time of 2 days.

Sorry that I couldn't do better for you!!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Did you guys damage your current R splitters beyond repair? I clipped track-out curbing with mine and pulled one of the screws out and began to separate the upper and lower layer (which made the car feel TERRIBLE at 130+ mph at VIR), but I was able to repair it like it never happened.

Thank you!

DirtRoadTrip, Mine is pretty scuffed up on the bottom. However the majority of the damage is to the right outer edge that caught a curb. It has rolled upward and although it is better since I added heat to reshape it it still looks like dookie and still misshaped. Don't need it right away but I figure I start window shopping before next track season starts.

DO NOT TOUCH HCM. I have an HCM Carbon rear wing - I had a really terrible experience with them. They really don't know what they're doing when it comes to Carbon Fiber. The manufacturing on my wing is appalling to say the least. When I contacted them about the problems (cracks, warped, etc.), they said that is just part of the process and refused to take it back.

Speedkore looks to be a better company. I met them at Fabulous Ford's Forever last year and saw the all-carbon fiber GT350R in person. Their workmanship looks much, much better.

I currently have the non-r splitter. I've about sheared the rivets completely off from various scrapes at the Ridge, Pacific Raceways, and Laguna Seca. Don't critically need a new one, but would like to upgrade to the R splitter :D

I should have one I stored in my shop, new and unused. I'd be willing to sell it at the $900 price you were looking for. Shipping is where it hurts and can add upwards of $150+ though.
