Can anyone help me out? I have a 2019 GT350R and i want to replace the front splitter with a NON R splitter. FR3Z-17626E (ford oem #) Will this just be a remove and replace with no issues or will it not fit on an R model. I suspect it will fit but just wanted to ask some knowledgeable 350 peeps. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, I’m curious. Why??

If yo think you’re gonna save a substantial amount of scraping, you’re not.

YES, That was my thoughts,
I live where the end of my road sucks and i would rather not rip the crap out of the 350R splitter.
I had a regular 350 not to long ago and it was soooo close to scraping so i am just assuming this will be much worse. I would rather save $500.00 so your input is appreciated.

Remember a few years back when there were R splitter knockoffs on Ebay. They were relatively inexpensive. I get the cost thing but I’d have a hard time taking the R splitter off. Sure glad I have a brand new one on the shelf in the wrapper.

agreed on all accounts, and I tried the chinesium splitter not long ago. Could barely tell the difference until it made contact with something, and it cracked instead of bending like oem tends to do.

i also have an oem on the shelf 😬

FWIW, I just ordered a factory 350R splitter. There is one on Ebay for $2100ish dollars. Most other places are at $1500, but then want $200 - $500 in shipping. Local dealers in Calirado would not price match (and told me their cost was $1500 (BS)).

Last week I got an email that Ford was having 35% off on parts. I found Sunrise Ford had it for $1441.00. Online shipping showed $179. I ordered it and it shipped out yesterday (drop-shipped from California).

I don't need one, but in speaking with the local parts guy, there were not many in inventory around the country, so I picked one up to hold as a spare.

Still hurt to spend that much $$ on a piece of ABS plastic.

I just bought a 2019 GT350R, she has 715 miles on her, i am actually trying to take the R splitter off to save it and not have it damaged as it will become increasingly oem Rare. Put a regular gt350 oem Splitter back on and save the R splitter until i move out of this craphole NY State and its roads.
BTW, Good find and price on the R Splitter

I'm in Colorado. We have these shit-ass curbs for our driveway entry and everything rubs. Bought those ramps... so it now rubs less. The damn snow run-off channels they put in intersections are the big issue though. You'll be doing 35mph (or more) and freakin splitter drags on those... not good.

Posted that in case anyone was looking. Not sure the are still at $1441, but if anyone needs one, Sunrise Ford was super easy to work with.

I got uber lucky. I got my brand new factory R from an individual. $1,200 shipped. He wanted $1,100 and then only wanted $100 for shipping (he had a guy). I did not haggle, LOL.

The R splitter is sooo much better looking than the base. I couldn't live without it, so props to you guys. You guys gotta go into this game considering the splitter an expendable item like oil or brakes.
