I have an Ecoboost premium that I picked up a few days ago but I noticed that I do not have the "Navigation" button that is normally found in the top right corner.

Can anyone tell me whats going on or how to set up Navigation?

Do you have the little SD card in the slot located in the center console ??
I think that has to be in there in order for Nav to get map info and function properly, but not entirely sure.
Mine was already installed at the dealer.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but does your car have Navigation listed as a separate line item on the Window sticker? It's not standard on an EB premium.

Is this an SD card that I buy and load with the maps or is this from Ford? Either way I don't have it so thats definitely the problem.

Bingo! Its not on the window sticker, I guess I just figured the "Voice activated nav" add on meant it would still have navigation and maps but not voice activated. I guess I was wrong.

Yeah it was a $795 option. I don't believe you can just add the SD card as you'll also be missing the GPS receiver.

It's for the home screen. It doesn't change the animated pony at start up. I don't think you could change that if you wanted to (and why would you)

Question, do i just save the image and then download to a drive? Does it matter if it is not saving in a JPEG format?

thanks
The PNG format works in the car. Just save the file to a usb drive and plug that in to the car. Then on the screen go to settings, display, edit wallpaper and add the new wallpaper from the drive.
