I agree I have them in my Platinum F150 and definitely want them in the Stang. Does anybody know if natural grain will still be heated/AC?

Well, I ordered a 401A and ended up with the Ebony/Natural Grain seats and the premiums come with AC seats, so if it doesn't have AC, I'll truly be pissed.

You Guys do know the Seats are Not Air Conditioned Right? People get the wrong impression when it says Heated and Cooled Seats, that somehow they are Air Conditioned Seats when In Fact they Only Have a Fan System designed to Circulate Air through the Perforated Sections of the Leather.

Sorry for the thread resurrection - I noticed not all Premium Interior options have this Natural Leather Option. How does one specify it and is it extra cost? Wondering if it is the specification with 68B which would imply non-68B/Premium Accent Trim interiors (but Premium) are top grain leather only?

Bumping it up as I'm still confused after speaking to the dealer - he mentioned it was a no cost option to select 'Natural grain leather (code #5)' if you were getting the Premium Seats. They mentioned the leather quality was higher as it was 'pure soft full leather' as opposed to 'bonded leather'.

Pretty sure the natural grain leather is what you gain with 68B redline or ebony, not sure about 'Raven' in the 50Y package. The 11-14's had a similar option (400A gave you the premium 'base' leather seats, 401A gave you a softer leather, which, after about a year, the forums erupted about showing premature wear - a large number were replaced under warranty).

I just saw some pictures in the photos section from one of the Bucket List events, and the leather on the 68B redline seats (which are currently at the top of my list) was all bunched up and scuffed already, really didn't look like it was holding up well at all IMO. If that is what you 'gain' with softer leather, it's making me consider the base leather seats, or even the base model altogether...I mean, the car can't be more than a month old.

This is a real shame in my book, because I LOVE the look of these seats. Just not sure I could live with that kind of wear though.

I don't think that is Ricardo Montebond. However I think he play him on TV.

His real name is Khan. He once owned a Klingon Bird of Pray Starship that had fine Corinthian Leather on the Captins Chair.

Yikes! That is a lot of bunching for what is a new seat??????
Jeez, I'm wondering whether I should go ahead and add the Recaros back. LOL.

How do the Recaros wear?

I don't know about the Recaros, but there is the bunching and you can see on the left side of the driver's seat what looks like scuff marks from something brushing against it getting in and out of the car. Again, for what really can't be more than a month of wear (and probably less), this looks really bad to me. I am seriously hoping that this is a pre-prod car and issue, but honestly I doubt it - I've heard owners & test-drivers compliment the softness of the leather and also comment on how "loose" it is, both of which might aid comfort, but certainly aren't good for durability if these pics are any indication. I can't imagine what this seat would look like in two years.

Again, REALLY bummed because I think the brand new Redline seats are works of art. This is not tho.
