I prefer to think of our Tri-Ax party like this.

Just finished my shifter install. It was pretty straight forward. The directions are spot on. The only thing that I didn't do is remove the drive shaft or exhaust. Total time was probably 3-3.5 hours start to finish.
I'm super happy, it was kind of late so I didn't get to drive much, but in the limited use so far, everything feels great.

How do you like your quick jack? Get high enough for you?
Yes, I love them. The best money you can spend if you can't install a lift and do regular car stuff. At the highest point I can use a creeper under the car and still have about of foot to work with between me and the car. The photo I posted a few pages back only had them at lower stop so they still go up quite a bit. The shifter photo above has them at the highest point.

So I got to drive around a bit today with the new shifter. Seriously, such an amazing difference from stock. I have the softer springs installed. Can't imagine what the stiff springs would feel like. There is almost no movement side to side with the softer ones. The shifts are very short and the gates, as others have mentioned, are right next to each other.
The only downside is slight increase in cabin road noise. It's not from the shifter, but it's due to the thick rubber gasket that is molded into the stock shifter. My guess is this seals the cabin form the road and exhaust noise. This gasket is not transferable (unless i missed something). I installed all the dynomat that was provided, but I might go back and install some additional. It's not major, but it is there.
I also love the height of the shift ball now. It just feels like it was supposed to be that height.

One of my favorite mods of everything I have installed so far.

Your post is spot on. I agree with everything you have stated.

This is my favorite aftermarket shifter, ever.
