NACA/NASA -like hood graphics

I think the Mach 1 hood sticker looks like ass and I really like the ones from the late 60's and early 70s.

Without getting carried away too far I was playing with some color design and wonder what you folks think.
This is the basic template. The color would follow the crease in the hood. Where you see a light gray think silver or light gray, dark gray would approximate Magnetic. Black would be matte except for the nostrils which would be gloss.

Ignore the offset stripes - they are just there as a way to break up the sheer expanse of the cener color. I have no idea yet if I will use stripes or what color scheme looks reasonable.

I say toss the factory hood and get an aftermarket Co. to produce one with the proper 70’s style vents and spacing that will allow for a better graphic. Or one similar to the original style of the Stormin Normin hood of the 80’s-90’s for the Fox Mustangs (which was close to the 70’s design too).

I owned a ‘71 Boss 351 in my youth and I keep toying with the idea of a similar blackout hood on my Cyber Orange 22 GT when it arrives.

Of the choices presented I’d go with 1 but round the edges at the front.
