So excited for this!!! So you are saying just swapping the module without Forscan reprogramming should enable Mycolor on the gauge cluster? Also, assuming the module swap does indeed enable MyColor, would buying the OEM premium LEd zones (cupholder, doorsills, foot wells, door handles) and running wires to the second connector fully enable MyColor and ALL its functionlity?
I would think just swapping the module will work. I have flashed my cluster many times with premium GT data and was never able to activate the MyColor menu. The thing I didn't know was that this BCMB has data required for MyColor as well. The first line of the BCMB As Built Data is different and in this line of code there is a block that reads 0042 on premiums and 0000 on base models. The base models will not accept the 0042 block (write error in forscan) thus preventing MyColor. With the new module, MyColor should activate and appear in the cluster. The key word here is SHOULD. I am 85% certain this module is the key and that no other programming will be required.

If you swap the module and purchase all of the oem equipment then full OEM MyColor will be possible. From what I can tell from the wiring diagrams, they should all connect directly to this module.

Here is the second connector pinout! What I am not sure of is where or if there is a zone 2 ambient lighting.... The other troubling thing is that there is no service pigtail available.... That might make things difficult if you want full OEM MyColor.

I have an appointment with a dealer tomorrow at 2pm. I'll have them look the module up and see if any dealer happens to have one of these laying around (I highly doubt it).

So who's the first to try it??? Just waiting to confirm it works before pulling the trigger on buying the module. At the edge of my seat at this point in anticipation.

You have some S550s in your local scrapyard? Lucky, I'd be looking to see what I can snag every weekend. I can't find one close to me.

Called a dealer, they checked local inventories across the US and found only 1 dealer in Illinois that has the part. It's a special order part :-(

Yeah man we have at least 5 scrapyards who specialize in Mustangs, what i got from there so far:
- Sync 3 with bezel
- Premium cup holder.
- PP wheels
- AND the module which we're looking for.

I'll post an update in the next 10 minutes.

So I got a module from a premium car and installed it on my car but unfortunately MyColor didn't show up so Zack thinks the IPC needs reprogramming, so I'm gonna try and do it tomorrow.

Here are some pics from the premium car

Btw, my base module has the same part number but with a different suffix (AE instead of BE) - I had a look at 2 premium cars (American imports) and they both had the same part number.

Dang! I wish I could find one of those around here, but they're too valuable still. Insurance salvage yards scoop them up and use them to get parts to fix Mustangs that can get repaired. I would love to find a SYNC3 system, aluminum dash bezels, lighted sill plates....etc...on the cheap!

Also, It's odd that I cannot find the modules by searching your base or the premium part number. I do get a couple ebay results, but nothing from Ford.

Hopefully the reprogramming goes well. If it does, it sounds like a lot of us will be buying this module and Forscan units.

I programmed my IPC using codes from a premium car but unfortunately MyColor menu didn't show up, I even reprogrammed the BCMB but with no luck.

waiting on further suggestions.

The driving modes just show up when I use the toggle but they don't function

Its probably like line lock where its tied into another part of the programing to enable it.
