Ah got ya, don't bother with that one, just get the lighter 2pc brace they offer, gives same result, half the weight and half the price, plus far less risk of catching on speed bumps like my one of that did, nearly ripped it off, hence that got binned too.

I think I should get a strut brace for my new MY18 GT vert when it eventually arrives. I wonder if it is of any additional benefit being a convertible?

This one looks the biz IMHO, not sure if there is a different one for the 2018. This is the 350R one. Some will tell you there’s no point in putting one one a convertible, I think the inference being that we are less ‘enthusiastic’ drivers, which is of course bollocks . Given that there is probably more flex in the vert (despite the pile of extra scaffolding underneath) I think there is even more point. I swear mine sharpened up the turn in, but who cares, it looks the dogs, and you can lean on it too .

I've ordered the 350R brace for my vert. I haven't got the car yet so just collecting parts I know I want.

Hi Jim. No, I'm afraid I don't have my window sticker yet. The dealer still says the build date is set for the 9th April, but I'm sceptical. If I don't see the sticker tomorrow I'll be kicking off again. :tsk:

Get mine this afternoon. I've got 4 Winter wheels and 4 winter tyres, 4 spare summer rear tyres, a steering wheel lock, a foil lined box for my keys, a quality USB cable and a sheepskin seat cover from Australia for her indoors (cos I was too stingy to order the heated seats).

That's unreal. If they know the build date there must be a window sticker. Have they given you the right VIN?

The VIN shows up on ETIS, so I'm presuming it's correct. I'll do some more digging when I have time tomorrow, but I'm getting a bit deflated with it.

I sold my GT86 last weekend, so the pressure is on to get a proper date for the Mustang. Every day it doesn't arrive after the 26th May will be another day driving our other car, which is an Ibiza :doh:

I forgot to add that it looks beautiful and gave me over 30mpg coming back from Preston. Can't be bad.

We all got over 30mpg on our first drives, that soon ends if you drive it properly.

Have you specified MagneRide? If so that could be the delay as they are saying Ford never allocated enough for 2018 builds
