I have been using this type of portable tool set chest at home and I found out it fits perfectly in the trunk of our Mustangs without getting in the way of the spare tire cover. If you don't have the Shaker Pro option, it's a perfect fit in that space. If not, then you can place it all the way against your rear seats, but putting it in place of the Shaker Pro is more convenient. To stop it from sliding around, I placed two squares of velcro under the tool chest. One piece of each rear corner and it's very important that you place the velcro pieces to the rear of the chest. Just think about the physics of something rolling over.
The model I have in the pictures is the Great Neck 205 Piece Tool Kit
The one I use at home has less pieces and is also cheaper from Walmart called Hyper Tough 86-Piece All-Purpose Tool Set

Both sets are the same dimensions.
