I think this is extra loud to convertible owners with the top down. I floored it going through a few tunnels, long underpasses and HOLY HELL, I felt like I was at race track!

I believe I was doing 2k, 4k, then 6k revs
I'm so doing that, I hate the look of mufflers as it is

Having lots of drone, I am interested in any solutions. Can you describe further what you mean? What specific materials might you try and how would you apply/install them.
Thanks
Look up what a 1/4 wave resonator is for an exhaust system. Do some math and make it adjustable and you can get rid of any drone you might have. I plan on doing it for my pype bombs on my mustang because they drone alot as well.

Unfortuantely the 1/4 Helmholtz resonator or 'J' Tube' only quells the drone in an ≈ 400rpm range. It helps but is not a silver bullet as a few have come to find out (Ugly John most notably) on the V6 exhaust sound clip thread.
It may well be different for the EB.

I live in NJ and plan on going with the muffler delete + installing exhaust tips very soon for my EB. How much did this cost you?

Honestly I do not find it to be as loud as you would expect a muffler delete to be. No drone what so ever. And it sound amazing at WOT. I may consider a Resonator delete too if I can watch some comparison videos on a delete of just the mufflers vs. a delete of the resonator and mufflers.

Muffler delete is ok if you have a sick downpipe. Mine was way to loud and sounded like shit with a Catless downpipe.

Are you happy with your tip purchase? I feel like I want a longer tip based on your pics

You guys think its better to do a full catback exhaust with new dp or would it be alright to just do the axel back muffler delete with a dp? I feel like the muff delete is just for sound and won't really help open up the flow with a new 3in catless dp since the dp will still enter the smaller radius stock exhaust pipes vs a 2.5 or 3in set up. Thoughts?

I chose short tips, because I didn't have tips with me during my delete. Choose a tip you like the most regardless of length if you haven't done your delete yet. Let the welder cut according to your tip length
I plan on purchasing these tips:

http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts-mufflers/flowmaster-round-angle-cut-tip

Specs: 3" Inlet, 4" Outlet, 7" Length

You've stated OEM spec is 2.25" Inlet, so do you think 3" Inlet would be an issue? Also it's clamp on, so I'm assuming they can tighten it to a 2.25" if required?

The resonator and I believe the mufflers at the end are chambered and slow exhaust gases, both should be strait through for best flowing exhaust. I plan on doing 3 inch cattless down pipe and ive already removed my resonators and mufflers.

Is there any reason preventing someone from doing a full 3 inch exhaust so that its 3 inches from turbo to tip? And wouldn't that make the most sense? I see most people and manufacturers do 3 inch dps with exhausts that go from 3 inches to 2.5/2.25 and always wondered why.
