A 1969 Volkswagen Karhmann Ghia (think Maxwell Smart). Orange in color, automatic 2-speed (clutch-less). Car made like 50-plus horsepower lol.

As with a few others, my first car is <- . I've had my Cougar since I was 15. I bought it for $600 and had it running on my 16th birthday for under $1000. It had a 289 2v and 3 speed manual at the time and was eventually upgraded to a different 289 that I rebuilt myself when I was a junior in high school. I also added a Top Loader 4-speed. It's now been with me a little over 32 years. It still needs a lot of body work done to it, but it's definitely drivable and still fun to fire it up and take it for a spin.

1st car was a 92 Camaro RS 5.0L 4 speed automatic. Second was an 89 Corvette. I have been a mustang owner ever since having owned 6 mustangs over the last 20 years.

Nice thread!

1971 GMC pick up. 307 with a 3 in the tree. Standard steering that could spin half way around without the tires moving.

Home done paint job. Wood planks in the floor of the bed.

Man the memories of that thing!

Thanks for the thread!

Mine was a '74 Chevy Silverado. The metal bits were highly dependent on the Bondo holding them together. What a POS it was but I was so proud of it all the same :)
