I'm wondering... Tier 2, Alsa chrome plated...?
Getting first tier and gonna try, but the smoother finish should help...

It is not to difficult at all! There are just a lot of clips you have to get to. The plus is that once you do it once you don't have to do it again.

I do know of people that have chrome plated both tier 1's material and tier 2 so it is most certainly possible! Tier 1 will work but I am not sure you will be able to get very smooth finish because of the material properties. Tier 1 material is very porous so no matter how much you sand it it will always have dents in the surface. There is a way to seal tier 1 materials using an epoxy mixture which will fix this problem.

Tier 2 is made out of a uv cured acrylic resin. Because of this the surface will be extremely smooth and with very little detailing should be a perfect surface for chrome plating.

Hello - Plasti Dip ?

I may have missed it, but would plasti Dip work on Tier 2? Seems like it would and there are so many choices in colors.

That would get nasty really quick. It tends to hold dirt and grime and u have to clean with water. Not good for interior. Imo

Agreed. No other reason why it wouldn't work though.

If u use the actual dip that was meant for tools, it would work. U actually dip it in a liquid and it comes out coated.

Well guys here is a tier 2 toggle! This one is unfortunately not functional because of the tolerances being to tight... Modified tolerances and ordered another for a functional test!
