So what do u think about the color on this one?
I like it! I think it will fit much better in the interior then the silver metallic but that is a personal opinion!

The black is not a deep dark black like the OEM button but it still is a very good black color. Should hold up relatively well to use as well.

I'm going to have the face of mine painted and sealed with dura-coat. Should provide a nice gloss and give a rubberized feel.

Polishing is always an issue with shapeways.
Have you tried any other material?
Steel maybe?

Prototype 1 was made out of their polished metallic plastic and had a better surface finish. I have looked into their steel offerings and decided against it. From what I can see it does not give you a good surface finish and would require a few to many changes to the design. Their pilot program for aluminum printing looks promising though.

Did I see Shaker under your switches? I thought the shaker system wasn't available for the V6?
