Youll get more drone with an H, trust me.

Here is some in car footage

I can't get over how good this sounds for such a simple setup.

Man, this sounds wicked. Not sure if I could tolerate it in a DD, but if I could get 80% of this sound under 500 I'd be thrilled.

I miss the days of $300 GT500 Axlebacks...

Seriously considering this setup I think this is the best sound i have heard so far. How do feel about the volume of the exhaust? Based on the in car video it doesn't sound that much louder than stock. How much louder than stock would you estimate this is?

I did the custom xpipe resonator delete but also went with a 2-1/2'' pipe starting from the cats ....... I love the sound but wish it was a little louder so im thinking of grabbing some electric cutouts and mounting them before the mufflers so it would sound sort of like straight pipe

Idk how I missed this thread but I am glad I found it! I've been trying to tell people there is no reason to spend 1k+ on an exhaust system when it's just a bunch of pipe (which is cheap, relatively speaking). Sounds great, thanks for the vids!

I completely agree! $1400 for a Corsa catback is asinine. Love the sound and weight reduction but loathe the cost. I think they'd be a lot cheaper if less uninformed ppl bent over for one.

:frusty:so much info, so little time, so much misinformation... should be same with headers too right based on the logic... same with tires, just rubber... :tsk:

Not doing the soap box thing but Corsa, Borla, ARH, Kooks so on and so forth put a lot of time, money, development and people to work to bring the market the best available we can. We take 3-4 weeks alone for acoustic development utilizing our patented RSC elements etc, straight pipe flow with no drone tuned sound, 304 stainless, dual wall stainless tips, , precision consistent fit over and over again, lifetime warranty etc.. I am all for ingenuity and hands on building of mods etc, I do the same... BUT please do not be misinformed. Murica and Mustangs! the defense rests lol.

I used to also share this view until I had a very enlightening conversation with Nick F. (owner of ARH) when I was at their HQ having my catback installed. There's definitely a lot more to it than just a bunch of piping. It'd be nice if exhausts were cheaper but it is what it is. At least we're not paying corvette prices.
