Any idea what the pipe diameter is where the GT350R X pipe bolt's to the down pipes off the manifold? If they are the same diameter as the 5.0L GT, then I would figure it will all bolt up, but you would need the rear valance for the quad tip. After that, to get the active exhaust to work, you may have to run some of your own wiring and switches, unless someone knows if the GT PCM has the ability to open/close accessories. I don't think anyone will really know anything until the car is actually released and we can get hands on with it.

It would probably be cheaper and much easier to go with Roush's active quad tip solution which is designed for after the fact installation than trying to make an OEM part for a different car work and to somehow get the active part wired.

My gut is that you won't see anything near the GT350 sound from it either because that's due to the Flat Plane Crank and firing order, and not the exhaust/mufflers itself. The Roush will also porbably sound a lot closer in sound on the 5.0 to what you want to get from the car.

If the GT350R exhaust can REALLY be had for $1500, it's actually quite a bit less expensive than the Roush active axle back ($2,659.99)...

I would personally rather have the Roush on my car for reasons you stated (ease of install being the main one, but also cosmetics). Now, as stated, you can't expect the 5.0L to sound like the 5.2L for reasons already stated (flat plane crank and firing order). However, it may still provide a good sound to the 5.0L. The issue that I think most would have is activating the valves in the muffler, it may not be OEM like (using the controls in on the dash) and would be closer to the Roush set up where you have your own controls (switches) wired in. You could probably use some kind of a rheostat to fine tune the valves.

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
Why do you think that though?
Why not?
The system replaces the suit case with an x-pipe, has small resonators to help with drone, and has an aggressive sounding muffler.

It just seems like a bit of an unknown considering what it's currently fitted to.

There's plenty of exhausts out there at the moment so I don't see why you would go for this apart from bragging rights. There's no way of telling what it will sound like on a regular Mustang so it just seems a bit of an odd idea.

Why do you think that though?
The firing order is what creates the pulses through the exhaust which i guess you could call the "beat", but the raspiness and aggressiveness of the exhaust is created by the actual exhaust itself.

Also, i guess you have all heard the difference on the S197 between stock headers and longtubes no?

Yes, i'm just speculating, but i have a very strong feeling that the coyote would sound pretty damn good with this exhaust and longtubes.

Just my opinion of course!

Oh, and another really good reason i would want to go with this exhaust, is because aftermarket exhausts in my neck of the woods don't pass tech inspection, so rather than having to remove it every year for inspection, it would be nice to have a factory like exhaust that passes.

Any information on where you found it? Inquiring minds want to know, because there is a huge interest in quad tipped exhausts, judging from the thread on corsa.
I can PM you the part number if you are interested.
