I only drove mine for 40ish miles, but I HATE the clutch feel... What did you think about the lack of tension on the clutch pedal?
I actually don't mind the clutch. It find it soft and light but it still feels competent to me.

After all the heavy clutch Mustangs I've had, I wouldn't mind this one to be light.

I enjoyed the light clutch, took a little getting use to.
Sound like the OP is less than happy with his overall purchase, Yet
at the end seems more than happy, 50/50 I guess.
Thanks for the write up.

Very happy but I do find the car to be highly imperfect

I feel the same as the OP. Not pretending it's perfect and a little disappointed at the "effort" when so many other "lesser" cars have better fit and finish... but it's not going to stop me from buying it.

Good to see more honest reviews popping up. I think most of us know what makes the car great, but there's nothing wrong with calling out any issues on a 50k+ car. I agree with most of what you wrote. I have the tech and think the sound system sounds terrible (but love the SYNC interface). The interior was better then what I would of expected from a Mustang, so I didn't have an issue with the quality. Now that you mention the shifter/brake boots, those are pretty cheap.

People forget, all of things they complain about can be made better.
Oh ya right, they cost more also :) Yes you want more, but it needs to be lighter,
better sound, oh but now cost to much? Heavier leather and other bits,
damn you know it weights to much. You can have it, you just gotta pay for it,
one way or another. Just saying!

Thanks for the review, I think I will find the car perfect based on your assessments.

Thanks for the review. I believe the tech pack upgrades the interior nicely but unfortunately you lose the Recaros. As for the interior noise I was blown away when you said you're ears would be ringing!, I find the interior quiet especially when cruising in 6th. Conversation with a passenger can be held at normal levels. My previous car was a 68 Firebird with full length headers and dual 3" exhaust. Now THAT car had your ears ringing!

I know to each his own and it's our opinions but I had to weigh in on the interior noise comments.

Enjoy the car, congrats!

Is it at all possible you were cruising in sport mode with the exhaust valves open?

I sat in a few samples at the LA auto show and thought the interior felt more than acceptable. Then again I'm coming from a c6 corvette

I cruised in both modes. Like I said 70mph in 6th at 2k rpms is quiet, but 4k to 5k rpms in 4th is extremely loud, sport or otherwise.

Congrat's on the new ride. By the way you picked that up about 1/4 mile from my house.

The regular GT guys are removing the clutch pedal assist spring and rave how much of a feel improvement it gives the pedal. Not sure if the GT350 has the same spring on the clutch pedal, but I would bet it does.

Sounds like the stero system is where Ford saved some money. Thats Ok though, very easy to fix in the aftermarket.
I always change out speakers anyway.
