How about internet sales teams that suck. I have emailed 3 dealers, asking if they give X plan on specific cars.

Some of the answers include..

we will do anything to earn your business.

Here is my cell number, call me for the best price.

When would you be available to come in ?

HOW ABOUT YOU ANSWER MY SIMPLE QUESTION. !!!

I get the impression they want to deal with you directly and in person. If this is the case, why do you have an INTERNET SALES TEAM ??? I don't need to be sold on the car..... answer my question and give me straight answers. PERIOD

My local dealer initially got three. A Race Red GT, A guard ecoboost, and a white V6. The GT sold the day after they got it and the other two are still there. Today when I went to the dealer to buy a couple of batteries, I saw that they had a black 15 on the back lot but I didn't have time to see what version it was.

They sold the GT for a little over $2,000 off the sticker price which was $42,175.

The dealer where I bought my 14 GT supposedly has a few of the new ones according to their website. The dealer where I have had all of my warranty work done, has not received any new Mustangs yet.

This is not the best time of the year to buy a car like the Mustang so that may be why some dealers are not selling many or they are not coming off the sticker price very much if at all.

Local dealer here has been sitting on a Race Red GT for several weeks, and has a blue EcoBoost on order.

No indication on budging off sticker yet on the GT, which can't help. The fact that winter just arrived isn't helping either. I expect it to sit there a while. Here trucks and SUVs are the hot items anyway.

And, face it, the economy isn't exactly favoring dropping $40K+ on a toy (assuming you're like me and it won't be a DD).
The new Fseries and the 150 is not exactly a slouch in price... they still come in at a hefty 45 to 55k price range up to the platinum. to piece a decent 2015 F150 similar to what I have now is over 15g out of my price range.... Not too keen on selecting an xlt and piecing it together with options and FX4 pkg... its still 20g over what I paid for getting the FX4 which was just under the Lariat and King Ranch... Now its just XLT plus the FX4 pkg and then optioning out everything else....Guess will have to see what happens in the next 7 or so years or when I am able to collect on military retirement as it would be my payment towards a newer truck... too far in the future for now and going to concentrate on this mustang for now:love:

They are trying to make a killing on these cars since they are limited....at the moment...

My dealer has had three, two V6s and a GTPP. All were sold within 24 hours of arrival. The V6s went over sticker, the GTPP was a fleet order that stayed on the showroom floor for a day or so while the company that bought it cut a check. Nice company car, I thought. Mine will be their 4th Mustang, and they'll have it in their possession about an hour and ten minutes, if I have anything to say about it.

Meanwhile, in the Pacific NW there are barely any to be seen anywhere.
There are quite a few in the Portland area, drove at Damerow (gt premium) and Vancouver Ford (v6 and eco premium )

You all know that the best time to save $ on a new '15, will be around this time next year, in '15. These are still new cars and dealers aren't that concerned about them sitting there for a while... It's the '14s that they want to move out. NOW is the time to get the deal on one of them. These '15 models will be selling well this coming spring.

Local dealer had at least when I visited yesterday. CO, DIB, Black; all GT, no recaros. :/ Guard fusion right next to them. I'll do guard on an F150, but crossed it off the possible list for the Mustang.

My dealer sold their first "stock" order (a black GT) before it actually arrived at the dealership. Someone saw it on the truck and started calling all dealerships in the general direction the truck was headed. Found the right one and made the deal over the phone. Mustang was unloaded, made ready, and delivered to the lucky customer right away.

What a crazy story..I've always day dreamed about seeing my car coming the opposite direction on the highway, and I'd get to follow it all the way to the dealership :headbang:

The blue GT is already sold, Texas is selling just fine.

Now if they'd just get the one I need.
