I wanted the ford spoiler from day one but unfortunately though I couldn't get one in the spec I wanted with one, I had to have an in stock car as part of the deal I got

Anyway I've had a few quotes of £800 ish for the Ford one, fitting, painting silver or black which seems extortionate baring in mind its about a £300 option

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254437239310

Found the above in gloss black would need to get it fitted but surely that's a £100-£200 job at most

Its painted gloss black so that's all fine.

Can anyone confirm it looks,s identical to the original ford spoiler?

Does look similar to mine (see photo). You can easily install it yourself. All you need is a template, a centre punch tool to mark the spots, drill and some touch up paint. Very easy job. Go for it.

cheers but I wanted to stay Ford OEM looking

I’m torn about the spoiler at the moment as sometimes I think my GT is missing it and then other times I think the spoiler takes away from the fantastic lines the mustang has. Ummmmm

do it! You won’t regret it

i had that same attitude and was on the fence for so long, now I can’t imagine mine without the spoiler, love it!

i have the oem gt350 which was a diy install, a bit scary drilling the holes but the hardest part was using the template. Seems to be commonly placed a few mm too far back - towards the rear. In hindsight i would have paid someone an hours labour to get it done. One of those things that’s super easy if you’ve done it a few times

Keep contemplating a spoiler but don't want to do something as permanent as drilling holes which is req for the nicer options. Especially with how I change my mind sometimes lol.

I have the Ford OEM one,my local Ford dealer supplied and fitted it for just over £700,special offer at the time, very happy with it,finishes off the rear end nicely I think.

Go onnnn, get a ruddy massive one like mine

But not the same one as there’s only me and 2 others with it that I know of in the UK so far:muscle:

The only spoiler that I think looks any good is the GT350 version

Although having an aftermarket spoiler arbitrarily fitted to the boot, without any aerodynamic calculations may have an adverse affect on your car.

I've not found a spoiler that wows me enough to spend the time or money having one. Can you actually feel any difference in driving after fitting one ?

It's an aesthetics thing for me mainly, must say it looks a lot more aggressive with the spoiler. Always been a huge fan of the GT350 too.

I'd say I feel about 10% more cool when I'm driving when I look in the wing mirror and see the corner of the spoiler :sunglasses:

The only spoiler I would go for is the oem one and I've decided against it.......for now
