Because I want ambient lighting? It's not like I think leather should be standard along with the shaker pro system.

They've got to wire fiber optics and led's all over the car, I'd say it's fair that it's a premium feature.

I'm confused... Ambient lighting now shows on the base models... At least it does for GT as an option... Kinda mad I placed my order and NOW they add that to the list...

Someone recently told me - not confirmed, by me anyway - that the ambient lighting available on the base packages is only for the cupholders and foot wells, and is only like 7 color options (unlike basically infinite in the MyColor system). So the gauges, door runner, etc. are not included in this package to my knowledge.

That's right. The build and price describes what is included in the option. I'm not sure what system is installed to change the color.

I love when people say they want things in the base trim and it's not fair it's only premium.....next time you order a small drink complain that you want a large drink or pay for coach on a airplane and throw a fit because you're not in first class..Gimme gimme gimme but don't make me pay for it.

Those are the same folks who complain because the Premium costs $4K for leather seats and that's all you get. The Premium package is really pretty rich. I wasn't planning to order it, but once I started paying attention to the Order Guide and Dealer Guide, I talked myself into it. Funny thing is, once you go Premium, the PCAG is a real bargain at another $400.

I also wish they would make the gauges and the floor ambient lightning levels able to be controlled separately. I just can't stand having the floors lighted up at night while driving.

Also why a vacuum gauge on the performance pack cars, rather see a oil temp of something useful. If it was there was supercharged option, Yes a Boost gauge

That's why it's "ground speed". An airplane with "ground speed" would be silly.

They've been pretty open about using airplane cockpit as a design concept. It's just a play on that.

Maybe we should start complaining about the font it's written in.

Can't you turn the ambient lighting off but still have the gauges lit up? I just keep mine on so I'm not sure
