The 301a doesn’t include the Pony projection?

The only way to add it would be you need the proper door mirror assemblies that contain the projection capability (and the harness inside the door). Then I believe you have to activate the feature within Forscan (see “As Built” thread in the DIY sub-section on here to read about Forscan).

The pony projectors (puddle lights) light up the ground outside the car, not the floor inside.

Yep and everyone who has seen it at night time love it along with the digital dash and the way you can change the colors. I have the 401a premium pack and I absolutely love this car. Since I've gotten up to around 1300 miles I drive around in sport plus and floor it occasionally and what a freaking blast. Now that the lawn and landscape season is underway I'll be driving my F250's 95% of the time but every chance I get I'm taking the car out. It's raining today which sucks

American muscle sells little stickers to change the color of the puddle lights if you don't want plain white.

Of course I got blue to match my grabber blue convertible. They come in blue, red, purple, orange and yellow and sell for 30 bucks for a pair of them. A little pricey for what they are but the photo speaks for itself.

Just a note, I believe the puddle lamps have changed design a few times and my 2020 uses a round type of projector :

My son got me the red ines for Christmas a couple years back. You're right, pricey, but they do look good.

Crappy pic though.
