No problem :). I have a GT 50th and they only light up when I open the doors and it's dark enough for all that other stuff to come on. It's an awesome touch

I wonder if there is some type of setting for them. I just saw some videos that show the pony projectors come on when the car is unlocked but the doors are still closed.

They do stay light for a little bit after closing the doors as well. I hardly ever use the unlock button on the fob but I can try that later on to see if using the button makes them come on. I just use the feature of the sensors on the handles to unlock. Easier than taking to fob out of my purse :)

Here's how they work:

-- they come on when hitting the unlock button on the key fob
-- they come on when opening the door

In both cases, they remain on for approx. 20 seconds, the same amount of time that the front and rear lights stay on. If you touch the locking part of the door handle, or the lock button on the key fob while they are lit, they turn off. They basically work in conjunction with the other exterior lights.

Replacement module

Are they replaceable bulbs? I haven't seen them but would expect it to be a whole assembly. We have an EB or I'd check.
The lighting assembly must be replaced. LEDs are intended to function for the lifetime of the vehicle. If it is not functional, get it replaced under warranty.

Just want to add an information so others in searching, will find it.

These pony projectors works only when parking brake is engaged! At least in euro version.
I was going crazy because my pony lights won't work every time they should.. and then some user told me that I need the parking brake engaged!
Don't know why Ford wants it - I always left my cars in 1st gear because I for sure will forget the parking brake engaged (yes it beeps but when I hear it I'm already driving with it..)

Does the image come from a service manual? I'm looking for detailed info on how to replace them, mine starts to look more like dragons instead of a pony.

I've had to have both of mine replaced because the image got blurry/scratched. I'm hoping these new ones last a little longer than the originals.
