Yeah! So pumped - where can I track the car now that I have my VIN, is it ford etis?
It will show up in ETIS, then you have to PM Ford Service on the forum for a build date.

About a week out from that build date your window sticker should appear - check the ETIS sticky thread for the URLs. The window sticker will have your actual build date for the factory.

I just got my window sticker the other day, I can confirm that checking hourly does not make it come any quicker...

Hey OZDAZ5.0,

I think we ordered on practically the same day. You had any news? I was told to contact them with my VIN on May 1 so they confirm build date. I kind of hope that I will get a June date post the sync 3 change over.

I am a bit over the waiting game and really hope the car is as good as I think it is and not as shit as people keep saying ... with an unaligned boot, bonnet pinch, wonky back window, shit gear box, crap tires, dodgy paint.... wait why am I buying this car again?

lol
Boot align and bonnet pinch don't bother me (minor adjusting I can do if need be) wonky back window is a hit and miss not that concerned either, gear box (auto) can handle massive power and is one of the strongest autos available, paint seems fine (the odd blemish, no different to most new cars) tyres are also crap on most new cars too but really these are a good set of of pirelli's ??? how bad can they be....So far I think a Mustang apart from a nicer exhaust (even that is not 100% necessary) needs very little...they look horn, they go hard, they're comfortable etc etc FACTORY.....for 65k I can't beat it with anything else... hang in there I think the wait will be worth it.

The Dealer rang me last month and said my Magnetic GT fastback would be July build for a October delivery.

He can't supply me with an NSC number yet, so I guess we'll see what happens in the next 3 months.
When did you order mate?

Interesting, Ford AU have told me to contact them May 1 for the build date. I have my VIN and I have on window sticker so I am skeptical. Having said that if the delay pushed me into sync 3, I wont cry abut it.

When did you get your VIN?

I got mine on 1/4 from memory (so 3+ weeks after that for window sticker), and Ford Service on here have a better idea of build date than Ford AUS

Ford AU Facebook page, I've messaged them and they've told me to get back to them once my dealer has an NSC

You'll be getting a MY 2017 Daz so you should change your info ;)

Not sure about the VIN, but locally (Falcon & Territory) VIN's are allocated the month before the car is built.

If that is also the case in the US, then you should have a VIN in a couple of weeks :clap2:

Got an email from the leasing company today advising that my order has been moved forward 3 months (I have a GT Deep Impact a Blue on order) and my car will now be built on the 30th of May, which we make it one of the last Deep Impact Blue Mustangs to be built.
Expected delivery is now late August /early September, rather than the original November delivery.
It means it will be 12 months from the time I ordered until delivery.
